Nikon F Mounting Adapter II

All the adapters of generation II are only for TERRA (or other Kine cameras in the future) with new KineMOUNT, not for KineMAX/KineMINI/KineRAW-MINI or KineRAW-S35, these cameras should use adapter of the first generation.

NO. This adapter is only for new KineMOUNT on TERRA.

TERRA with native EF mount should be changed into KineMOUNT before using this adapter. (We charge fee for the mount changing service.)

1. Rotate iris ring of Nikon F mount counter-clockwise till stop;
2. Rotate locking ring of Nikon F mount counter-clockwise till stop;
3. Take off all the caps or covers from camera and lens mount;
4. Align red dot on lens, white line on locking ring and dot on mount. And make sure that the pin on mount matches the hole of lens;
5. Rotate locking ring NOT lens clockwise until fastened firmly.

Attention:please hold the lens to prevent the lens from dropping accidentally when loosening the locking ring to remove the lens.

The FFD is calibrated for new camera with KineMOUNT and Nikon F mounting adapter.

You need following things to adjust FFD if tuning FFD is needed:
Flange test diagram;
The shims for the adapter;
A new prime lens or zoom lens;
Measuring tape.

First, make sure your TERRA employs KineMOUNT.

Note: FFD of KineMOUNT is very short, and the mount looks like PL mount. NEVER try to attach any lens into the KineMOUNT directly, in case the rear of lens bump into the CMOS sensor, which leads to permanent damage.

Power down: Power down camera at first when remove or install any mounting adapters.

1. Release: Rotate the locking ring of KineMOUNT in Counter-Clockwise way;
2. Install the adapter to KineMOUNT: Notch on the adapter to the location PIN in the KineMOUNT;
3. Attach the Nikon F mounting adapter II to KineMOUNT carefully;
4. Rotate the locking ring of KineMOUNT to fasten adapter with KineMOUNT firmly in Clockwise way.
