KINEFINITY newly introduced the Active E Mount that can work smoothly with MAVO Edge and MAVO mark2 camera. Active E Mount supports electronic control and enables you to attach your Sony E mount lens to the MAVO Edge camera, extending the range of compatible lens options.
Compared with the passive E mounting adapter, Active E Mount with electronic contacts allows in-camera control of IRIS, focal length, focus and lens image stabilization, bringing sharper imagery and more efficient workflow.
While integrating complex electronic control system, the versatile and robust Active E Mount keeps its compact and lightweight form with its aluminum, stainless steel material and only 127g weight.

Powerful and Useful Electric Control*
Seamless IRIS Control: Rotate the camera knob to adjust the IRIS; or set the lens IRIS to any stop in increments as small as 1/256 through in-camera adjustment.
Operator-friendly Focus Length Adjustment: While using the manual focus lens, the real-time Focal Length will display on the screen, simple and clear; with the help of Active E Mount, the camera also supports to adjust the Focal Length of lens with Servo System, controlling lens zooming freely through camera buttons.
Smooth Focus Control**: While the lens is on AF Mode, the camera attached with Active E Mount supports to adjust the Focus with camera buttons; While on AF/MF Mode, focusing is easy to achieve by rotating the lens focusing ring, and the focus points position would exhibit on monitor UI.
Anti-shake System: While attaching an E mount lens with Optical Image Stabilization system, enable the Anti-shake function in camera or turn on the lens’s image stabilization, realize sharper imagery no matter shooting handheld or using a telephone lens.
*Currently Active E Mount do not support Electronic E to EF Lens Mounting Adapter.
**Active E Mount DOES NOT support Auto-focus Function.
In-camera Metadata Display, High-efficient Interaction
Efficient Interaction For Quick Adjustments: Long press the IRIS Button to enter the E Mount Lens Controlling interface where you can adjust the Focal Length, Aperture and other parameters based on the living image.
Live Lens Parameters Display: Display the real-time metadata on the monitoring screen of MAVO Edge 8K , MAVO Edge 6K and MAVO Edge 8K just like using a cinema lens supporting the Cooke/i protocol. Users can be wise of current Aperture, Focal Length, as well as the precise Focus position.
Save the Precise Lens Metadata: Automatically identifies lens models, reads lens metadata and records them into the footage, acquiring corresponding Lens information for in-camera playback or post-processing; simplify the workflow and increase efficiency on set and in post.
Secure Locking Connection
Native Mount Design: Active E Mount is built from aluminum and stainless steel, and attached on the camera with four screws, robust and reliable.
Interchangeable Design: Active E Mount can be installed on camera body easily without extra flange distance calibration, expanding the range of compatible lens options together with the interchangeable Active PL Mount and native KineMOUNT with its mounting adapter family.
Active Rotation Locking: With the spanner and active rotation locking, active E Mount remains safe and secure even when attaching an external focus follower.
Lightweight But Reliable: The versatile and robust Active E Mount keeps its compact and lightweight form while integrating complex electronic control system, ideal for either zoom lens or heavy telephone lens. Light and convenient, makes everything agile.
