The viewfinder continually introduces new features, and most of these can be implemented through firmware upgrades. Updating the firmware is straightforward and quick, allowing you to upgrade to newer versions or revert to previous firmware versions if needed.

The firmware version is shown at the bottom of Menu, for example, Firmware: 1.00(#0300). To upgrade the firmware as the following steps:

CAUTIONDo NOT take any other operation and never lose power firmware update, else it may lead to failure of the update, and the viewfinder has to be sent to Kinefinity for repair.

CAUTIONYou should only keep 1 viewfinder firmware file on the USB disk at a time. Having multiple firmware files could potentially cause failure of the upgrade.
